CABINS AND HOLIDAY VILLAGE
All our cabins are built according to old traditions with timber from the forests in Värmland, carpentered by skilled workmen. Environmental thinking is focus.
Björnsjöhöjden
Up on the hill with a view of the country for miles, lies the jewel of the company, the holiday village of three log cabins. Newly made according to old traditions where the tooth of time increases the patina. Genuine and environmentally correct without neglecting the modern life.
Tegen
In an old village from the 16 century there were only a few buildings left at the turn of the century. The village had become overgrown. We started to break new ground, clear the land and burn-beat the land to recreate the old pasture- and enclosed pastureland. There, next to the old village school, we carpentered two buildings, a cabin and a farm building. In the middle of the nature.
The mansion
On an island in the lake Nedre Tvängen lies the mansion. Well it is called the mansion since it is the only buildning on the island, 16m2 big. It is not the size that matters but the location! Far away from all roads and civilisation, in the middle of the nature.
FISHING
Did you now that Värmland holds the largest number of freshwater fish in its lakes?
Our lakes are exciting and full of fish. Most of the time you will be all by yourself since the accessibility is limited by road barriers. We want to increase the accessibility among other things by having boats in the lakes Furuvattnet, Björnsjön and Nedre Tvängen.
CANOE AND BOAT
Our cabins are in direct connection to all the canoe trails of Glaskogen nature reserve. We rent out canoes and boats that fulfill all security requirements. The boats can be rented with or without engine. One boat is equipped with electric engine.
HIKING
From Björnsjöhöjden there are thrails that connect with the hinking trails of the Glaskogen nature reserve. That means that over 300km of hinking trails are accessible from the cabin.
EVENTS
Staff party, kick-off, managerial body meeting, conference, customer meetings etc.
