Winter Activities Sunne is a complete resort in Värmland. Ski Sune has nine slopes of varied levels of difficulty; four of which are lit up. There is a special snowboard area, ski school, ski rental, ski shop, sportservice, restaurant and cabin - all of which make the resort complete. The Akka Stadium is the name of Sunne´s ski arena - and is the starting point for several cross country ski trails, of which 5 kilometers are lit up at night. At Rokkmakk Cottage in Ängen, families find their winter paradise with sleigh riding, winter fishing and ski tracks. In the cozy Rokkmakk Cottage, Greta serves the most delicious waffles in Värmland. One can even bring one´s own picnic lunch to enjoy there. There is also an ice arena with hockey rink in Sunne. Certain times may be reserved for the public.
