Sights

1 Abborrtjärnet – catching pit and grave from the Stone Age.
2 Abborrtjärnsåsen – old tar boiling and stone cellar.
3 Bartelstorp – one of the oldest wood buildings in the area with stable and barn.
4 Bytorp – stone with the inscription” year 1870 on August 18th a flash beat to death two cows”.
5 Cattle bridge – ”Karjasilta” – stone base of the old bridge.
6 Honkamakkhöjden – fire tower with nice view for miles around.
7 Kammesmakk – ”Kammoismek”. Old Finnish settlement, once 7 farms. A magic ”Star stone” and old boundary lines. The farm is running after old traditions with scythe and cattles. Rich flora with rare flowers.
8 Karlsvik – ”Railanstomta”. Built in the 1640th. The dwelling house is built at the beginning of the 19th century.
9 Karmeso – old stonebridge.
10 Kullen – probably the oldest building in Sweden, standing on its original place, to dry corn.
11 Kullberget – nice view over lake Kymmen. Worth seing flora with hazel, lime and hepatica.
12 Kunterud – two old cottages. Once many cottages was situated here but most of them were pulled down in the 1940th.
13 Ruins of a old mill by the river.
14 Lusketorp – Cottage, cellar wih stones pillars and tar boiling.
15 Långnäs – defences from the 2nd world war. Outflow of a powerstation tunnel, where you can find minerals.
16 Mansebacken – ”Smultronbacken”. Cottage base and spring.
17 N. Tvällen – Building from 1833.
18 Pekktomta – Cottage base with wall ruins.
19 Samuelstorp – Ruins of one of the bigger yards in the area.
20 Snällartorp – Cottage from the turn of the 17th/18th century. Base of a school house.
21 Stormyren – Botanical sight. Moor with rare plants. You can see the moor best from the way between Sävtorp and Vatterud.
22 Nature campesite with parking place, toilet and bathing place. At the bathing place ”Stranna” you can find rests of old setlements from the Stone Age.
23 Tastorp – old Finnish sauna, renovated 1998.
24 Tvällens festival place – dancing floor in the style of the 1950th.
25 Åsen – quiet area with nice view. Accomodation
